SYMPTOM LIST A
☐ Stuffy or runny nose ☐ Sore throat ☐ Cough ☐ Stomachache ☐ Headache or body ache ☐ Ear pain ☐ Unusual fatigue ☐ Acting fussy or out of sorts ☐ Rash ☐ Red, pink, or irritated eyes If only one symptom from LIST A is present, your child may return to school when they feel healthy enough to participate in all school activities, even outdoor play. If two or more symptoms in LIST A are present (even if mild), your child may not come to school until symptoms have resolved for a minimum of 24 hours without the use of medication. |
SYMPTOM LIST B
☐ Vomiting ☐ Diarrhea ☐ Fever greater than 100 degrees: If your child exhibits even one symptom from LIST B, they are ineligible to return to school until symptom free for a minimum of 24 hours without the use of medication. |
GENERAL HEALTH POLICIES
- If we send your sick child home from school, they are ineligible to return to school the following day.
- In order to attend school, all children, regardless of what symptoms or illness they have, must be able to participate in all school activities (even outdoor play), must not require more care than the teachers can provide, and not be contagious.
- In order to contain the spread of illness, siblings of ill or quarantined children are also excluded from school.
